Situated between Carcassonne, Beziers and Narbonne in the Languedoc Roussillon district, at the northern edge of the Minervois wine region and close to the Languedoc National Park.
Fly via with RyanAir to either Carcassonne (Airport 45 mins), Perpignan (Airport 1 hour), Montpellier (Airport 1 & half hours) or Bristol to Beziers (Airport 40 mins). Girona Airport is 2 hours away straight up the coast motorway.

Minervois
Bize Minervois is a small picturesque village situated on the River Cesse (there is clean river swimming available which has a life guard in the peak summer months) in the heart of the Minervois wine region, and within a few miles of both the Corbières and St Chinian wine regions.
Bize has local shops, 3 restaurants, a café bar, medical centre & a mini cinema ! There is a small market on Wednesdays. Additionally the neighbouring village has 2 more restaurants, a cafe bar and an award winning olive oil factory.
Situated close to the Canal du Midi; just south of the Black Mountains & the Languedoc National Park; one and half hours to the Pyrennees Mountains and Spain.
Local sites include Carcassonne La Cité, the old Cathar village of Minerve, many other Cathar castles, such as Lastours, Queribus, Montsegur and Peyrepertuse. The famous Abbeys of Frontfroide and Lagrasse are also close by.
The Mediterranean coast is 45 minutes away with a number of small sea side resorts such as Gruissan, Narbonne-Plage & Valres-Plage.
